Opal Shell Fossil Pippi x 4

This is an Opalised Shell Fossil found in White Cliffs NSW, Australia.

It is a bi-valve Pippi segment estimated to be approximately 100 Million years old from the late jurassic/early cretaceous period when the now Australian desert was an inland sea. 

 #1. Opal Shell - the largest with Rainbow Opal flashes.

#2. Opal Shell - the smallest with green, blue and yellow Opal flash bars. 

#3. Opal Shell - small dark based excellent pippi shape with deep blues and greens.

#4. Opal Shell - larger dark base with green bar flashes.
